Staghorn Fern (framed)

This young Staghorn Fern (Platycerium bifurcatum) is mounted in a ball of moss on cedar wood, and framed with bare pine ready to be stained or painted to your liking. As it grows, the leaves bifurcate like the horns of a stag, and unique “shell” leaves encase the moss to trap water.
